The Spring 376 anime Kizuna no Allele featuring the VTuber character Kizuna Ai began promoting NFTs at the end of an episode.
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are allegedly intended to be a way for users to affiliate digital content with a blockchain token and introduce artificial scarcity. The technology has mostly been used to give Twitter users hexagon profile pictures with monkeys.
Kizuna no Allele premiered earlier this month and is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
